Will Caduceus Science products get me high?

The vast majority of Caduceus Science products are formulated specifically not to get you "high". In fact, most of our products have no D9 THC at all, which is the cannabinoid primarily responsible for the psychoactive effects of cannabis. While most of our products contain no D9 THC, several do and are clearly identified to keep you informed. Our products formulated for the "recreational" effects are: D9 Gummies, THCO Gummies, Delta Drops.

What is the difference between hemp and cannabis?

Genetically, there are very few differences between Hemp and cannabis but the main difference is the Delta 9 THC concentration found in the plants flowers come harvest time. Legal hemp is required to have a Delta 9 THC concentration less than .3%.

What is CBD?

CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of the non-psychoactive phytocannabinoids found in the hemp plant.  CBD works on the Endocannabinoid System to regulate every day bodily functions. Your endocannabinoid system is responsible for mood, stress, sleep patterns, diet and more. CBD has secured a massive level of publicity over the past few years due to many studies showing its vast therapeutic potential.

What is CBG?

CBG (Cannabigerol) is a non-psychoactive phytocannabinoid found in the hemp plant. It is considered a “minor cannabinoid” due to the low presence of CBG found in fully grown hemp. It is also the precursor molecule to both CBD and THC which has earned it the nickname "the mother molecule". CBG acts directly on the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain, allowing for it to have a more powerful effect than CBD. More and more studies are being done on the therapeutic benefits of CBG products, but the results are already showing unbelievable potential.

What is CBN?

CBN (Cannabinol) is a non-psychoactive, minor, phytocannabinoid found in the hemp plant. It is created when THC ages, making it much more available in older hemp. Although there is much to learn about CBN, it has gained massive popularity for its use as a sleep aid. Although we can not say whether or not CBN has a significant impact on an individuals sleep pattern, the studies are openly available online and are showing to be very promising.

What is D9 THC?

D9 THC (Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the most common psychoactive cannabinoid found in the hemp and cannabis plants. D9 THC is the most popular cannabinoid for its psychoactive effects which are responsible for feeling "high". Although D9 THC is most commonly known for its "recreational" use, there are numerous studies showing its vast range of medicinal benefits, hence its explosive growth and legalization across a majority of states. D9 THC is still federally illegal in volumes larger than .3%.

What are minor cannabinoids?

Minor cannabinoids refer to the many cannabinoids found in hemp plants that are found in a significantly low concentration relative to cannabinoids like CBD and THC. Although there is much research to be done on minor cannabinoids, many of them have shown to have incredible therapeutic benefits. The list of minor cannabinoids is extensive but there are a few popular cannabinoids that really standout such as: CBG (cannabigerol), CBN (cannabinol) and CBC (cannabichromene). These cannabinoids are found in such small amounts that the cost for isolates and distillates rich in these cannabinoids can reach up to $50,000 for a kilo (1000 grams).

 

What is the endocannabinoid system?

The endocannabinoid system is a widespread neurological system that plays important roles in the central nervous system’s development, synaptic plasticity, and the response to endogenous and environmental insults. The endocannabinoid system is comprised of cannabinoid receptors, endogenous cannabinoids (endocannabinoids), and enzymes. The enzymes are responsible for the synthesis and degradation of the endocannabinoids. Essentially, it maintains our bodies homeostasis- the biological harmony in response to the changes in our environment.

Do Caduceus Science Products Contain Delta 9 THC?

The Caduceus Science products containing Delta 9 THC are our full spectrum products. Full spectrum products will always be marked to be recognizable, avoiding accidental consumption. Our full spectrum products contain less than .3% Delta 9 THC, making them federally compliant and legal in all 50 states. All Caduceus Science products are made using hemp derived, lab tested concentrates. Caduceus Science has strict testing procedures and we make our tests available for easy access.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes are a very interesting class of compounds with an incredible list of uses and benefits. They are similar to essential oils and are produced in a variety of plants that produce a smell which can protect them from predators and parasites. Terpenes are found in endless combinations in hemp. They can be isolated and utilized for a variety of purposes.

When terpenes are used in conjunction with cannabinoids, they add to the "entourage effect", which provides more benefits to the user. Different combinations of terpenes and cannabinoids can create different effects.

Are Caduceus Science products legal?

Yes! Caduceus Science products, derived from hemp, are legal for purchase in the United States as long as they have less than 0.3% THC concentration. All Caduceus Science products contain well below the legal limit, if they contain any at all, making them legal in all 50 states. Purchasers should research and abide by their local laws before making any purchases.

Can Caduceus Science products be shipped?

How should I store Caduceus Science products?

Our products should be kept upright and firmly sealed. Place it somewhere with a moderate temperature. It should be stored away from extreme heat, cold, light, or moisture.

What is the difference between CBG & CBD?

There are a lot of similarities between CBG and CBD, but there are also many differences. CBD has many benefits however, most of these benefits occur through indirect interactions with the endocannabinoid system, while CBG has shown to work directly with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the brain. What this means is that CBG can provide similar benefits as CBD but more directly and more effectively. CBG also provides antibacterial properties and has actually shown to be more effective in handling psychological ailments.
